Co-Chair Position Applications

What is the Co-Chair Position?
The Co-Chair per Executive Board member relationship is one where the co-chair works directly with the VP on the e-board. This system allows the co-chairs to have more responsibility than an active member and gain valuable leadership experience before moving on to an e-board role. These positions are meant to be a stepping stone to an E-Board position, so if the Executive Board is something you're very interested in make sure to apply!

Application Process:
Current e-board members will be joining next year’s e-board members in the selection process of the co-chair candidate for the positions. Results for co-chair roles will be sent out via each VP during the last week of classes, and by the latest, during finals week.

Requirements to Apply:
Applicants must be an inducted, and an active BWiB member. Open positions are listed below as well as the the VPs for each role next semester. To find out more about each co-chair's responsibilities please e-mail the corresponding VP.

How to Apply for a Co-Chair Role:
To apply for a Co-Chair position please send your resume and a one page letter of intent by 11:59pm on Sunday, April 28th to the e-board member that you would like to be a co-chair for. That VP on the e-board will then arrange a time to meet up with you for a casual interview.

In your letter of intent:

  • Please include your name, year, and runner up 2nd & 3rd choice co-chair position choices (it will be inferred that your top choice is for the e-board role that you send your application to)

  • Discuss why you think you would be a good fit for the co-chair role and the value you would bring to the e-board member that you will be working with

***Please CC winb@binghamton.edu in your application when sending it to the e-board member of your choice. This will help us effectively keep track of your application!***
